Tamara Doan was hired in 2009 by the Planning and Conservation League Foundation to collaborate with community organizations in developing the Carmel River Watershed Action Plan Prioritization.
From 2000 to 2008, Tamara was a Program Manager/Director for the Coastal Watershed Council, a Santa Cruz based non-profit, where she worked with the public on various watershed and storm drain nonpoint source monitoring programs, watershed assessments, and community education and stewardship projects. She also has experience working in the Central Coast Agricultural community on water quality projects. In 2009, Tamara worked with the Central Coast Water Quality Preservation Inc., to design and develop a series of outreach and educational materials, annual, and technical reports, to assist that organization in communicating five-years of Conditional Waiver water quality monitoring program results back to central coast growers and appropriate regulatory agencies. In 1999, Tamara received a B.A in Environmental Studies from University California at Santa Cruz, focusing on Conservation. |
