Marti Johnson began working with the Coast and Ocean Regional Roundtable (CORRT) Project with the Planning and Conservation League Foundation in 2007.

She conducted "wiki" training and development to support the CORRT Planning Group process. Her skills in online technical support for the CORRT project have provided the backbone for program development, enhancing communication and planning processes which were essential to conducting the first and second CORRT annual meetings. Marti is working with the Santa Cruz County CORRT group to conduct the annual meeting. Her background includes working on watershed projects with the Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District in San Luis Obispo County where she assisted with creation of the Upper Salinas Watershed Action Plan. She also began coordinating six Central Coast RCDs as part of the Agriculture Water Quality Alliance (AWQA), a cross-sectoral, private-public partnership working toward collaborative, voluntary protection and enhancement of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and adjacent watersheds while sustaining world class production agriculture. She is currently based at the Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County.
